Job summary

WEM Water is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team, working on water and sewer infrastructure projects across Greater Sydney. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years' experience operating 35T excavators, with strong deep trenching and benching skills, and prior Sydney Water project exposure is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience operating excavators in civil construction.
• Experience operating 35T excavators required.
• Strong deep trenching and benching skills.
• Sydney Water projects experience highly regarded.
• Construction White Card and valid Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate 35T excavators safely and efficiently across water and sewer infrastructure projects.
• Undertake deep trenching, excavation and benching to required levels and specs.
• Excavate around existing underground services with care.
• Complete backfilling, material placement and detailed excavation as required.
• Coordinate with spotters, pipe layers and supervisors during excavation activities.
• Work to site plans, levels, markings and project specifications.
