Job summary

Bravus Group, a mining services contractor, is expanding its team at Carmichael Mine in the Galilee Basin. We are seeking experienced operators to run 400+ tonne excavators and large mining dozers on a 7/7 roster with FIFO from Townsville, Rockhampton or Cairns.

Join Mackellar's project and contribute to ramping up production, with safety first, a new fleet, and opportunities for upskilling and promotion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience operating 400+ tonne large open cut mining excavators and large mining dozers
• RII competencies or verified training transcript in past 5 years
• Current Standard 11 and Driver's Licence

Responsibilities

• Operate 400+ tonne excavators and large mining dozers on a 7/7 roster
• Maintain safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement
• Work with FIFO team and participate in site camp activities

• $69.28 p/h ($157,612 annually) + Super paid on all rostered hours
• FIFO flights from Townsville, Rockhampton or Cairns
• 7/7 roster with optional OT on day shift
• Camp, pit & airport all within 5 mins - no long travel days

Our primary recruitment hubs are Townsville and Rockhampton, with flights also available from Cairns. We welcome and encourage applications from all regional Queensland communities.

What you'll need:
