Job summary

Bravus Group, a mining company servicing Carmichael Mine, is seeking experienced excavator and dozer operators to join Mackellar's team in regional Queensland. With a new fleet built for safety and efficiency, roles offer Western flights from Townsville, Rockhampton or Cairns and an on-site village with meals, gym and recreation areas.

The position requires 12 months' experience on 400+ tonne equipment, RII competencies or recent training, and a current Standard 11 along with a valid Driver's

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience operating 400+ tonne large open cut mining excavators and large mining dozers.
• RII competencies (or verified training transcript within the past 5 years)
• Current Standard 11 and Driver's Licence
• A strong commitment to safety at all times.
• Team-focused attitude and flexibility to get the job done.
• Willingness to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Operate 400+ tonne open cut mining excavators and large mining dozers.
• Maintain safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Work within a team to meet production targets.
• Support ramp-up activities at Carmichael site.

• $69.28 p/h ($157,612 annually) + Super paid on all rostered hours
• FIFO flights from Townsville, Rockhampton or Cairns
• 7/7 roster with optional OT on day shift
• Camp, pit & airport all within 5 mins - no long travel days

With production in full swing at our site in the Galilee Basin, we're expanding our team and looking for experienced operators to join us.

What you'll need:
