Plumbrite Solutions is seeking an experienced Excavator & Plant Operator to join our Brisbane team, delivering specialised plumbing and hydraulic projects across South East Queensland. You will operate 2T–14T excavators, skid steers and support crews on industrial sites.

Plant Operator – Industrial Plumbing Projects
EXPERIENCED OPERATOR? LOOKING FOR VARIETY, GREAT TEAM CULTURE AND SOMETHING DIFFERENT FROM THE USUAL CIVIL CONSTRUCTION JOB?
Plumbrite Solutions is seeking an experienced Excavator & Plant Operator to join our growing team, delivering specialised plumbing and hydraulic infrastructure projects across Brisbane and South East Queensland.
We are an established, professional contractor specialising in the food and beverage, industrial manufacturing, pharmaceutical and commercial sectors.
Our projects are diverse, our clients are industry leaders, and our team takes pride in delivering quality work in challenging environments.
We're looking for someone who is more than just a good machine operator. We want a hands-on team player who is happy to jump off the machine, pick up the tools and help the crew get the job done.
This is a full-time position offering a variety of work across industrial and commercial sites.
You will be responsible for operating excavators ranging from 2T to 14T, skid steers and other plant equipment, supporting our plumbing teams with underground services, trenching and site preparation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Operating excavators (2T–14T) and skid steer loaders.
Excavation and trenching for plumbing and hydraulic infrastructure.
Working safely around existing underground services and live infrastructure.
Loading, unloading and transporting plant and equipment.
Assisting with pipe laying, bedding, backfilling and general plumbing works.
Carrying out daily plant inspections and basic equipment maintenance.
Working closely with Supervisors, Tradesman plumbers and Apprentices to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
Maintaining clean, organised and safe worksites.
IMPORTANT – THIS IS A HANDS-ON ROLE!
We aren't looking for someone who wants to sit in a machine all day.
There will be times when the excavator isn't required, and we expect our operator to be willing to get off the machine and assist the team with general labouring, pipe installation, site preparation and whatever else is needed to keep the project moving.
If you enjoy being part of a team, aren't afraid of physical work and take pride in getting the job done properly, you'll fit right in.
