Job summary

Ovolo Group's Sydney flagship, Ovolo Sydney, is seeking an energetic Events Sales Manager to drive new business across Greater Sydney in MICE, corporate groups, social events and weddings. You’ll be the first contact for event inquiries and lead a high-performing sales effort.

Reporting to the Director of Events, you’ll coordinate site visits, quotes, contracts, and promotions while building lasting supplier relationships and turning opportunities into revenue in a vibrant lifestyle hotel

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business administration or hospitality management or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in hotels.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with lifestyle hotel brands is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Secure and grow new business across Greater Sydney (MICE, Corporate Groups, Social Events, Weddings).
• Be the first contact for event sales inquiries and support leadership and strategy.
• Coordinate site inspections, quotes, contracting and planning; manage Corporate/Group contracts.
• Maintain CRM data (OPERA) and pass leads to the sales team; promote promotions externally.
• Build relationships with suppliers and provide competitor analysis for C&E and Corporate segments.
