Cumberland City Council is seeking an Events Producer to develop and implement the Council’s events strategy and to plan, organise and execute a variety of major community events. The role requires strong event management experience, stakeholder engagement, and compliance across the full event lifecycle.

The position is based at the Merrylands office, with potential to work across multiple sites and after-hours scheduling for event delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Qualification in Event Management or related industry experience.
• Experience in event site operations, logistics, risk management and compliance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management experience.
• Proven project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Commitment to high-quality customer service.
• Commercial mindset with creative event ideas.
• Analytical and research skills; ability to work independently or in a team.
• Working with Children Check is required.
• Current First Aid certificate is required.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement Council’s Events Strategy.
• Plan, organise and execute events through full lifecycle: development, planning, delivery, evaluation and reporting.
• Collaborate with Events Team and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Adhere to safety, compliance and site operations requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service and stakeholder communication.
