Job summary

Cumberland City Council is seeking an Events Producer to lead the planning, organisation and execution of major community events across Sydney’s Cumberland region. The role contributes to Council’s Events Strategy and oversees end-to-end delivery from development through evaluation.

The successful candidate will have extensive event management experience, strong stakeholder relationships, and excellent communication skills to deliver high-quality community experiences.

Qualifications

• Extensive event management experience.
• Well-developed interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• High level of written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and execute a variety of Council events through full lifecycle from development to reporting.
• Develop and implement Council’s Events Strategy in collaboration with the Events Team.
• Coordinate event site operations, logistics, risk management and compliance.
