Job summary

Cumberland City Council is seeking an Events Producer to join the Events Team. You will develop and implement the Council’s Events Strategy and manage events through the full lifecycle, from planning to reporting, across major community events.

The role is a 12-month term full-time position based at Merrylands, with a 70-hour fortnight schedule and occasional after-hours. Applicants require relevant Event Management qualifications, extensive event delivery experience, site operations, risk

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Event Management or related industry experience.
• Extensive event management experience.
• Knowledge of event site operations, logistics and risk management.
• Strong stakeholder and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Council’s Events Strategy.
• Plan, organise and execute events through full lifecycle.
