Volleyball Australia is seeking an experienced Events Manager to lead allocated events and projects from planning to delivery, reporting and review. The role works with the Head of Events and General Manager – Event Operations, with immediate focus on the 2026/27 Australian Beach Volleyball Tour.

You will own event plans, timelines, budgets, risk and safety plans, coordinate staff and volunteers, and report outcomes.

Qualificações

• Three years’ experience planning and delivering complex events or projects in sport or event management.
• Experience in volleyball or beach volleyball and knowledge of competition structures.
• Ability to apply event procedures and manage deadlines, stakeholders and risks.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, and capability to work independently or collaboratively.

Responsabilidades

• Lead event plans, timelines and operational delivery across venues, accreditation, presentation and logistics.
• Develop and manage event budgets, monitor income and expenditure, and oversee procurement.
• Maintain risk, contingency and safety plans and coordinate safeguarding requirements.
• Coordinate rostering, induction and supervision of event staff, contractors and volunteers.
• Collaborate with member associations, partners, venues and participants; report on outcomes and drive improvements.
• Assist with setup, pack-down and equipment handling across events portfolio.
