Job summary

Adelaide Venue Management is seeking passionate Kitchen Attendants to join our fast-paced, event-driven teams across the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Adelaide Convention Centre and other venues.

You will assist with food preparation, setup and cooking for concessions and events, maintain cleanliness and food safety, and support sustainability and safe work practices while collaborating with the kitchen crew.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced kitchen environments is preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain standards.
• Willingness to work across a 24/7 roster.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices.
• Reliable and team-focused.

Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is South Australia’s leading provider of venue management services. It is responsible for operating three of Adelaide’s most iconic venues: Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC); Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC); and Coopers Stadium (CS); in addition to functions and events at The Drive (TD).

AVM is looking for enthusiastic Kitchen Attendants to support our vibrant concessions and event operations across AEC, CS, and TD venues.

The role

As a Kitchen Attendant, you’ll be a vital member of our kitchen crew, playing a key role in delivering exceptional food experiences across our venues. You will assist with food preparation, setup, and cooking for concessions and events, support general kitchen operations, and help maintain outstanding standards of cleanliness and food safety. You’ll also contribute to sustainability initiatives and safe work practices while working collaboratively with the team across AEC, CS, and TD venues in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

• Capacity to follow processes and maintain set standards at all times
