Job summary

Tennis Australia Limited is recruiting for an Event Operations Manager to oversee the Adelaide International. The role focuses on delivering a world-class tournament, ensuring safety, efficiency and quality for players, partners and fans.

The role requires flexibility across the summer months and is a full-time fixed-term contract through March 2027, based in Melbourne or Adelaide. Applicants from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-scale sporting, entertainment or major events.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and procurement experience.
• Proven ability to lead and develop diverse teams of staff, contractors and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operational delivery of the Adelaide International.
• Manage venue overlay, build, court services, catering, transport and accreditation.
• Develop and execute operational plans, schedules and procedures for tournament delivery.
• Manage budgets, forecast expenditure and control costs within parameters.
• Lead, recruit and develop staff and volunteers to deliver exceptional event outcomes.
