Job summary

Life Saving Victoria is seeking an Officer - Event Logistics to support carnivals and training events across Victoria. You will deliver, set up, and pack down equipment, provide operational support, and assist with crowd movement and safety.

Requirements include Working with Children/Vulnerable People checks and experience in event delivery or operational logistics. Weekend availability and manual handling are expected, with travel between locations as needed.

• Operate LSV vehicles, including pool vehicles, trucks and forklifts as required.
• Travel on weekends to Surf Coast, Peninsula, and central Melbourne event locations.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our sports team and be an active contributor to our summer sports events. LSV are seeking engaged Officers - Event Logistics to support the set up and delivery of our carnivals and training events across Victoria. In this role, you will:

• Deliver, set up, and pack down event equipment including signage, furniture, and technical gear.
• Provide operational support during events, troubleshoot equipment issues, and assist with crowd movement.
• Safely lift and move heavy equipment and pallets.

Essential Requirements

• Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
• Previous experience in event delivery and/or operational event logistics

Desirable Criteria

• Drivers Licence
• Availability and willingness to work weekends and after hours, including travelling between locations
• Current Forklift and / or MR Truck Licence is desirable
