The Wests Group Australia is inviting applications for casual event staff to join the NEX events team in Newcastle, NSW. You will provide a high level of service across a range of functions, including galas, school formals, conferences, and exhibitions.

Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down events, serving beverages, operating tills, and assisting guests throughout the event. Availability on Friday and Saturday evenings is required, with some flexibility during the week.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service within a restaurant or function environment.
• Ability to maintain high standards in a busy setting.
• RSA certification is required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down of functions.
• Prepare and serve beverages.
• Table service for meals and beverages.
• Operate tills and handle cash.
