Job summary

Assembly Yard is seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to help run a diverse range of events. You will coordinate with staff, clients and vendors to ensure safe, smooth execution while upholding OHS standards and delivering memorable experiences.

Responsibilities include coordinating operations, maintaining venue safety, and communicating clearly with stakeholders. Weekend and late-night work may be required, with a focus on professional development and team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in event coordination and/or operations.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and build relationships with clients.
  • Commitment to maintaining high operational standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Event Execution: Support operations to maintain standards and OHS compliance; use design programs as needed.
  • Communication: Liaise with clients and vendors to clarify responsibilities for seamless events.
  • Venue Maintenance: Regular venue walkthroughs to identify hazards and maintain presentation.
  • Operational Compliance: Adhere to internal systems for peak venue performance.
  • Professional Development: Participate in training; PDP provided for growth.
  • Problem Solving: Address issues proactively and escalate when necessary.
