Job summary

Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an Administrative Officer Level 2 at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. The role supports ward clerical operations and uses computerised patient administration systems to ensure smooth patient flow.

The successful candidate will have experience with hospital systems, deliver high-quality customer service to stakeholders, and work independently within a multidisciplinary team. Hours: 11:30am–8:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate has experience or knowledge of hospital and healthcare systems.
• Ability to deliver high quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to use initiative, work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Possess excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in a hospital ward administrative role is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Support ward clerical operations and maintain computerised patient administration systems.
• Clerical duties within the ward to ensure accurate patient data entry and processing.
