Job summary

A leading environmental testing lab in Girraween, NSW is seeking a full-time lab technician. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Science or a scientific background, and possess a hands-on approach with a desire for continuous learning. Key responsibilities include sample preparation, prioritizing urgent samples, and ensuring the lab maintains ISO 17025 standards. Applicants must have eligibility to work in Australia/New Zealand. This position offers an additional 1.5% superannuation on top of the national standard.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize samples with shorter turnaround times.
• Experience in sample preparation and adhering to ISO 17025 methods.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort samples, prepare log sheets according to LIMS database.
• Conduct quality control procedures and manage inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness in the laboratory and organize samples for storage.
