Job summary

Epworth Freemasons in Melbourne is seeking Patient Transport Officers on a casual basis to move and transfer patients safely within Epworth hospitals and to support patient care teams.

You will report to the Hospitality Services Operations Manager and join a collaborative team committed to patient-centred service. Mon-Fri, 1:00pm–9:00pm shifts are available with flexibility to cover additional hours as needed. Experience in healthcare is helpful; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Hold a Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport.
• Current valid drivers licence and Working with Children check.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Adhere to safe work practices at all times.

Responsibilities

• Move and transfer patients safely within Epworth hospitals.
• Provide excellent patient care and customer service.
• Report to the Hospitality Services Operations Manager.
• Work as part of a supportive, collaborative team.
• Demonstrate flexibility and reliability in a fast-paced setting.
