Job summary

Arcare Aged Care is seeking an After-Hours Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and oversight for high-quality, person-centred care. You will guide care staff, support residents, and foster a positive workplace culture.

You will lead nursing and care teams, oversee care plan development, and ensure safe medication administration while communicating with families and managing emergencies. Strong ANNA C knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Bachelor of Nursing (or higher qualification).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in aged care.
• Grade 5 Registered Nurse.
• Sound knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Demonstrated experience using ANNAC.
• Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and wound care.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• High-level documentation skills in care planning and evaluation.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and manage a team.

• Overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of individual care plans
• Ensuring safe and accurate medication administration
• Providing effective communication and support to residents’ families and representatives
