Job summary

Aged & Community Services Australia is seeking an After-Hours Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and oversee high-quality, person-centered care for residents in our aged care settings. You will guide care staff, support families, and ensure compliant practice while maintaining a positive team culture.

The role requires current AHPRA registration, a Bachelor of Nursing, and at least 3 years of RN experience in aged care. Expect casual shifts with PM/ND blocks and a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Bachelor of Nursing (or higher qualification).
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in Aged Care.
• Sound knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Demonstrated experience using ANNAC.
• Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and wound care.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High-level documentation skills in care planning and evaluation.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents.
• Leading and supervising nursing and care staff.
• Overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of individual care plans.
• Ensuring safe and accurate medication administration.
