Job summary

Figtree Anglican Church in NSW is seeking a full-time ordained Assistant Minister to lead the 6pm intergenerational congregation, reporting to the Senior Minister. The role envisions 200–300 attendees on Sundays and a shift from an M’s framework to a congregational model.

You will oversee worship, preaching, prayer, pastoral care, discipleship and leadership development, working with the 6pm Associate Minister to strengthen youth-to-young-adult pathways and contribute to future gospel-centred

Qualifications

• Ordained in the Anglican Church with licensing eligibility in the Diocese of Sydney.
• Hold a theological degree.
• Experience in congregational/ministry leadership and pastoral care.
• Ability to cultivate an invitational church culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the intergenerational 6pm congregation and report to the Senior Minister.
• Oversee worship, preaching, prayer, pastoral care and leadership development.
• Collaborate with the 6pm Associate Minister and ministry leaders.
• Contribute to the 2027–2030 gospel-centred preaching plan.
• Foster a welcoming culture and pathways from Youth to Young Adults.
