Job summary

New Life Shelter is seeking a House Manager to oversee daily facility operations and act in the Director's absence. The role focuses on supervising staff, ensuring safety, and maintaining compliance with organizational policies.

Primary responsibilities include directing personnel, conducting trainings, and managing audits. The position is onsite with a daytime-to-evening shift and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• College credits may substitute for up to 2 years of required experience (1 year college = 1 year experience).
• Experience: 4 years of human services experience (with HS diploma/GED).
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise personnel including scheduling, evaluations, disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with timekeeping and attendance policies.
• Conduct staff trainings and promote positive morale.
• Manage audits, corrective actions, and documentation reviews.
• Oversee property safety, inspections, and equipment accountability.
• May conduct intakes, inspections, and host visitors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
