New Life Shelter in New York, NY is seeking a House Manager to oversee day-to-day facility operations and stand in for the Director when absent. You will supervise personnel, manage timekeeping, conduct trainings, and handle audits and safety.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, 4 years of human services experience (supervisory preferred), and onsite work eligibility in the U.S. Compensation is hourly with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• College credits may substitute for up to 2 years of required experience (1 year college = 1 year experience).
• Minimum 4 years of human services experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Work Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Work Location: Onsite

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise personnel including scheduling and evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with timekeeping and attendance policies.
• Conduct staff trainings and promote positive morale.
• Manage audits, corrective actions, and documentation reviews.
• Oversee property safety, inspections, and equipment accountability.
