Job summary

Austin Health is seeking a Health Information Services Clerk at Heidelberg to support patient care after-hours. You will collate, scan and release information, maintain systems and respond to information requests, with some weekend hours and travel between campuses.

Based in Melbourne's north-east, the role offers an $60k starting base with salary packaging and super (pro rata). Evening shifts are 14:30–23:00 on Thursdays and Fridays, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare administration.

Responsibilities

• Releasing patient information.
• Reception services.
• Maintaining patient administration and medical record systems.
• Preparing and scanning paper patient information.
• Uploading information electronically.

• Assisting with Freedom of Information requests and/or Transcription Services.
