Job summary

Rydges Resort Hunter Valley is seeking a Food and Beverage Attendant for Gather PM. You will deliver warm, professional service in a private-dining setting, handling orders, service, and guest enquiries while maintaining a polished dining environment.

Ideal candidates have restaurant experience, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for local food and wine. RSA certification and right to work in Australia are required. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering exceptional customer service in a restaurant setting.
• Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with dining service.
• Foundational wine knowledge and beverage/menu understanding.
• Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to restaurant guests.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve meals and beverages in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming dining environment.
• Assist with restaurant setup, service, and pack-down.
• Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues with a positive attitude.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Follow food safety standards, responsible service of alcohol, and WHS requirements.
