Job summary

BYD Albion, part of Harmony Auto, is recruiting a Sales Consultant to join our EV-focused showroom in Australia. You will educate customers on our electric vehicle range, guide them through the purchase journey, and ensure a seamless, enjoyable experience.

The role requires a passion for automotive technology, excellent customer service, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends. Prior car sales experience is ideal, and a valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• Current Driver's License and a good driving record.
• Proven experience in car sales ideal, but willingness to learn is supported.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic about technology and sustainable solutions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends. We operate on a 5-day work week.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers on the showroom floor, providing in-depth information and demonstrations of our electric vehicle range.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and returning customers, following up on leads to drive sales.
• Understand customers’ needs and budget to recommend suitable vehicles, highlighting key features and benefits.
• Stay updated on new models and industry trends to enrich customer interactions.
• Guide customers through the sales process from inquiry to purchase, including test drives and CRM documentation.
• Deliver exceptional service before, during, and after the sale, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
• Meet individual and team sales targets, actively participating in sales meetings and training sessions.
• Assist with marketing activities, promotions, and product launches.
• Coordinate vehicle delivery, providing a detailed orientation on operation and maintenance.
• Keep the showroom organized, collaborate with finance and service departments, and share customer insights with the team.
• Contribute to achieving team goals, demonstrating a strong work ethic and customer-focused approach.
• Other ad hoc tasks related to sales.
