Job summary

BYD Castle Hill, part of Harmony Auto, is seeking an energetic Sales Consultant to join our showroom in Sydney. You will educate customers on our electric vehicle range, highlight features, and guide them through the purchase journey with exceptional service.

The role requires strong communication, a valid driver’s license, and a passion for technology and sustainable solutions. Experience in premium retail is a plus; we will support growth through training and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current Driver's License and a good driving record.
• Proven experience in car sales is ideal, but willingness to learn is supported.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic about technology and sustainable solutions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers on the showroom floor, providing in-depth information and demonstrations of our electric vehicle range.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and returning customers, following up on leads to drive sales.
• Understand customers’ needs and budget to recommend suitable vehicles, highlighting key features and benefits.
• Stay updated on new models and industry trends to enrich customer interactions.
• Guide customers through the sales process from inquiry to purchase, including test drives and CRM documentation.
• Deliver exceptional service before, during, and after the sale, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
• Meet individual and team sales targets, actively participating in sales meetings and training sessions.
• Assist with marketing activities, promotions, and product launches.
• Coordinate vehicle delivery, providing a detailed orientation on operation and maintenance.
• Keep the showroom organized, collaborate with finance and service departments, and share customer insights with the team.
• Contribute to achieving team goals, demonstrating a strong work ethic and customer-focused approach.
• Other ad hoc tasks related to sales.
