Job summary

JET Charge Pty Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager – Public to grow our public EV charging footprint across Australia. Based in Sydney or Melbourne, the role combines strategic account development, partnership building, and deal negotiations with a focus on public locations and infrastructure projects.

You will own the pipeline from prospecting to handover, collaborate with Marketing and Delivery, and maintain CRM hygiene to ensure disciplined opportunity management in longer sales

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, sales, site acquisition, partnerships, or a similar commercial role.
• Experience working across EV charging, telco, property, infrastructure, SaaS or another complex B2B environment.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to qualify opportunities and manage discussions.
• Ability to build relationships with prospects and maintain engagement over long sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across public EV charging locations.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline across target sectors, locations and customer segments.
• Prospect consistently and manage opportunities through the sales process.
• Build professional, trust-based relationships with prospects, site owners, partners and decision-makers.
• Communicate JET Charge’s value proposition across buyer groups and situations.
• Qualify opportunities and manage pricing and terms within parameters.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, follow up leads and progress opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Delivery and internal teams to bring in the right people.
