Job summary

Avanade is seeking an EUC Lead to design, build, migrate, enable, and hypercare Microsoft 365 productivity and collaboration services for the client environment. You will guide delivery across Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and related services, coordinating rollout with stakeholders and deployment resources.

You will ensure secure, efficient operation and smooth handover to end users and support teams, working with client stakeholders and architecture teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of Microsoft 365 productivity and collaboration services.
• Design and configure Exchange Online, mail routing, shared namespace, and tenant coexistence.
• Define mailbox migration, mail flow, distribution list, and onboarding approaches.
• Lead enablement of Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft 365 Apps.
• Support shared email domain and cross-tenant mail sharing solutions as needed.
• Coordinate end-user onboarding, productivity tool rollout, and adoption activities.
• Develop migration, deployment, cutover, and transition strategies for Microsoft 365 services.
• Lead testing, pilot activities, production rollout planning, and hypercare support.
• Manage deployment risks, dependencies, issues, and stakeholder communications.
• Produce solution documentation, migration plans, operational procedures, and handover materials.
• Support readiness and transition to BAU support teams.

Role Description

The EUC Lead is responsible for the design, build, migration, enablement, and hypercare activities associated with Microsoft 365 productivity and collaboration services within the client environment. The role provides technical and delivery leadership across Exchange Online, shared mail domain coexistence, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft 365 Apps, and associated collaboration services. Working closely with client stakeholders, architects, identity teams, messaging teams, and deployment resources, the EUC Lead is responsible for designing and implementing Microsoft 365 productivity services, supporting user onboarding and adoption, and coordinating rollout activities across the organisation. The role ensures collaboration and productivity services are deployed securely, operate effectively, and are successfully transitioned to end users and support teams. You must be an Australian citizen to apply; security clearance is highly regarded.
