Job summary

NSW Health at Royal North Shore Hospital Campus seeks a Program Manager to establish the Clinical Ethics Support Service (CESS). You will develop a Model of Care, support policies and guidelines, and lead strategic and communications planning.

Ethics is integral to healthcare; this role guides clinicians, patients and families through ethically complex decisions and helps build an ethical culture across NSLHD. Applicants with senior health leadership experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in senior management/leadership in complex health care settings.
• Knowledge of clinical ethics concepts and ethics support methodologies; understanding of quality and safety agendas.

Responsibilities

• Establish the Clinical Ethics Support Service (CESS) project with a Model of Care and governance materials.
• Develop policies, procedures and guidelines; craft strategic and communications plans.
• Provide guidance to health professionals, patients and families navigating ethical issues and foster an ethical culture.
