Job summary

Fidelity International is seeking an Operations Specialist for ETFs in Sydney. You will manage day-to-day ETF operations, oversee iNAVs and market making, and coordinate with external providers to ensure accurate and compliant daily functioning of the ETF platform.

You will contribute to ongoing improvements, oversee vendor relationships, and support new ETF launches. The role requires 5+ years in ETF/fund accounting and a strong regulatory understanding.

Qualifications

• 5+ years ETF/fund accounting experience ideally within a fund manager, custodian or fund administrator team.
• RG146 compliance knowledge or willingness to complete required learning.
• Tertiary qualifications to support fund accounting knowledge.
• Strong understanding of managed investment schemes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day ETF operations including oversight of iNAVs, market making, and AP creations/redemptions.
• Ensure timely delivery of operational requirements and resolve issues promptly.
• Meet internal and compliance reporting obligations (monthly finance reporting, market maker activity, AP risk).
• Keep ETF policies up-to-date and aligned with regulatory changes (ASX/ASIC).
• Collaborate with third-party ETF providers to enhance operational functionality.
• Identify and implement operational enhancements and efficiencies.
• Conduct quarterly performance reviews and annual due diligence of vendors (market makers, iNAV agents).
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders locally and globally.
• Support product, marketing and sales with ETF data, activity reports and competitive analysis.
• Assist in future ETF product launches and cross-functional support across Fund Accounting.
