Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our RTW Fabrication Team in Capel. You will assess drawings, specifications and project docs to determine quantities and costs, and develop execution methodologies for major tenders.

This Monday–Friday role offers work-life balance, stability and opportunities for ongoing development within a supportive regional team. You will collaborate with engineering, procurement and construction teams to ensure accurate estimates and risk-aware

Qualifications

• Ability to read structural steel and fabrication drawings, including ISO.
• Strong understanding of detailing, materials, weld symbols and tolerances.
• Experience identifying discrepancies in drawings and project documentation.
• Ability to translate methodologies into accurate estimates.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert estimating advice to assist with tenders, proposals and expressions of interest.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and project docs to determine quantities, materials, labour and costs for estimating.
• Develop execution methodologies and schedules.
• Analyze data for inclusion in tenders.
• Review tenders for quality, risk, accuracy and completeness; correct problems quickly.
• Identify ambiguities, risks and key issues in tender documentation.
