Job summary

Western Building Pty Ltd is seeking an Estimator/Supervisor for our South Melbourne office. The role combines cost estimation, repair planning and on-site supervision for residential and commercial insurance repairs, with some flexibility for remote work.

You will collaborate with claim coordinators, site supervisors and subcontractors to develop repair plans, monitor progress and ensure adherence to budgets and timelines. Strong communication and team leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating and supervising construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods and cost estimation techniques.
• Ability to lead on-site teams and coordinate with subcontractors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
• Collaborate with claim and repair coordinators, site supervisors and subcontractors.
• Provide on-site supervision ensuring budgets, timelines, safety and quality.
• Monitor repair progress and resolve issues.
• Assist with procurement of materials and subcontractor services.
