Job summary

MPA is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team and support tenders for fit-out and refurbishment projects. You will price submissions accurately, source capable subcontractors, and review designs to ensure alignment with client requirements and project budgets.

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will work with internal teams and external partners to achieve timely, high-quality outcomes on landmark projects, contributing to our growth in the Australian market.

Qualifications

• 3+ years estimating in the fit-out/refurbishment sector for a Head Contractor.
• Pricing projects valued over $2 million.
• Bachelor level degree in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
• Ability to simplify complex information for audiences as required.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Support tender process by ensuring submissions are accurately priced and aligned with value.
• Source sub-contractors and suppliers to achieve best budget outcomes.
• Review designs and plans at various development stages with stakeholders.
• Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to deliver time, quality and cost outcomes.
