Job summary

Newcastle Construction Contractor is seeking an Estimator and Estimating Manager to drive multi-project bids up to $300m and lead the estimating team in collaboration with the GM and Bid Manager.

You will play a central role in identifying opportunities, assembling pricing structures, and integrating safety, quality, and environmental standards into bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Experience on major and minor civil projects.
• Proven track record in winning project tenders.
• Experience with estimating databases and development of systems.
• Team oriented with engineers in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Looking after multiple project bids and the estimating team bidding on projects up to $300m.
• Be the key strategic contact in the team with the GM and Bid Manager for project costing and bids.
• Identify relevant projects and assemble accurate pricing structures across the business.

Established construction contractor based in Newcastle with an enviable record in project wins and successful project completions is looking for an Estimator and Estimating Manager.

Working on major construction projects in infrastructure they work on projects from $2m to $300m. With excellent safety, quality, environmental and estimating systems you will have the opportunity to work with some of the best construction professionals in the market if you decide to work for this contractor.

The Role

Looking after multiple project bids and the estimating team bidding on projects up to $300m you should have worked on both smaller and major construction projects with experience on NSW infrastructure projects.

You will be the key strategic contact in team team and be responsible for putting together the project costing and bids in conjunction with the GM and Bid Manager.

The role will work across the business in assisting identifying relevant projects and putting together an accurate pricing structure.
