Streamline Careers Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Estimator in Queensland to price projects from $5m to $30m across Apartments, Commercial and Health sectors. The role focuses on detailed cost plans, BOQs and tender submissions, with a strong emphasis on subcontractor liaising.

You will work with a collaborative, close-knit team, enjoy regular social events, and have clear career progression. Local QLD experience and Cubit software exposure are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
• Local experience in Queensland trades.
• Experience delivering detailed cost plans and tenders.
• Strong tender submission methodologies.
• Cubit software exposure preferred.
• 5+ years pricing projects up to $30M in Queensland.
• Loyal working history.
• Confident liaising with subcontractors, directors and project teams.
• Strong organisational skills and multitasking.

With tender levels at an all-time high, our established client is looking for an Estimator to join the team pricing jobs from $5m - $30M across Apartments, Commercial and Health.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates and BOQ's
• Maintain, qualify and liaise with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Manage ECI and D & C tender processes
• Compare and analyse sub-contractor pricing
• Develop new sub-contractor relationships
• Review drawings, specifications and consultant documentation
• Update and maintain estimating software, specifically Cubit
• Support tender submissions
• Collaborate with clients, consultants and internal project teams

Required Experience:

• Tertiary Qualification in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying
• Local experience is essential, well-connected with local QLD trades
• Track Record of delivering detailed Cost Plans and Tenders with minimal guidance
• Strong knowledge in developing extensive methodologies related to tender submissions
• Cubit software exposure preferred
• 5+ Years in a similar role pricing projects up to $30M in QLD for a head contractor
• Loyal working history
• Confidence in liaising with Sub-contractors, directors and project team
• Strong organisation and being able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
