About the Role:

In this full-time, permanent position, you will play a critical role in our Pre-Construction team. Your expertise will be key in delivering accurate cost estimates and preparing budgets for both internal and external feasibility analyses. As a confident communicator, you will serve as a central point of consultation, ensuring seamless information exchange among Project Managers, client representatives, and various functional teams within GFG and the wider FKG business.

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years in estimating within Australia’s construction industry, with hands-on experience across multiple projects, particularly in new build commercial, residential apartments, and multi-level industrial sectors. Senior Estimators are also encouraged to apply.
• Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the construction industry, including key market stakeholders and ongoing industry activities.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with CostX, including the Subcontractor Comparison function, and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.
• Certifications: Construction Industry Blue or White Card is essential.
• Organisational Skills: Strong organisational, time management, and prioritisation abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field are advantageous.
