Versatile Group is seeking an Estimator to join our growing estimating team in Sydney. You will work across development and construction, supporting cost planning, feasibility assessments, tender preparation, and commercial analysis on major mixed-use projects.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years' experience in estimating within construction, property, or subcontracting.
• Exposure to residential, commercial, mixed-use, or large-scale construction projects.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and cost plans for residential and mixed-use projects.
• Contribute to feasibility studies and early-stage project costing.
• Assist in preparation and submission of competitive tenders.
• Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Support value engineering and design review initiatives.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities.
• Maintain estimating benchmarks, databases, and reporting tools.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an Estimator to join our growing estimating team.

This role offers the rare opportunity to work across both internal development projects and external construction tenders, providing exposure to the full project lifecycle. You'll support cost planning, feasibility assessments, tender preparation, subcontractor engagement, and commercial analysis on major developments.
