Job summary

Brunel is actively seeking an experienced estimator/quantity surveyor in Queensland to price commercial builds, refurbishments and maintenance projects up to $20M. You will work alongside two junior estimators and report to the General Manager, with a strong pipeline of work ahead.

The role requires at least 2 years’ estimating experience in Australia, hands-on Cubit software, and a solid understanding of costs, methods and subcontractor pricing.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' estimating or quantity surveying experience within the Australian construction industry.
• Experience tendering commercial construction projects valued up to $10M.
• Hands-on experience with Cubit estimating software (essential).
• Relevant construction qualification, trade background or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, costs and subcontractor pricing.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical skills and negotiation ability.
