Job summary

Capital SMART on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced collision repair estimator. You will assess vehicle damage, prepare detailed repair estimates and use Audanet software to document estimates and manage parts checks.

This full-time role Monday to Friday with no weekend work offers the opportunity to contribute to precise repairs, maintain strong customer communications, and grow within a team focused on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of collision repair estimating experience.
• Proficiency with Audanet estimating software.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and repair procedures.
• I-CAR training certification preferred (not essential).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient computer skills and software navigation.
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of insurance claim processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle damage assessments and prepare detailed repair estimates.

• Perform comprehensive parts checks to verify availability and pricing.
• Communication with insurance adjusters regarding claim details and repair procedures.
• Coordinating with customers to explain repair processes and timelines.
• Working closely with technicians to ensure estimate accuracy and feasibility.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques.
• Maintaining accurate records.
• Review and approval of supplement estimates as needed.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
