Job summary

AustCorp Executive seeks an Estimator with facilities management experience to support national bids in cleaning and security services. The role is short-term (1-3 months) with potential to become permanent from Brisbane. You will develop pricing models, costings and bid viability in a fast-paced environment.

Working arrangements include Brisbane-based on-site work with opportunities for remote or flexible arrangements, depending on contract type. Strong Excel and P&L understanding are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as Estimator in facilities management or soft services.
• Experience in Cleaning, Security, Catering, Pest Control, Hygiene sectors.
• Strong Excel skills and understanding of P&L.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimise and review pricing, labour, resource and financial models used in bids, renewals, repricing activities and operational improvement initiatives.
• Prepare costings for tender submissions.
• Work closely with bids and operations teams.
• Undertake cost analysis for facilities management and lifecycle works.

The Company

With a growing national footprint, this organisation is seeking to enhance and develop their integrated facilities management service offering. They have need of an Estimator with expertise in facilities management to join their National team - particularly within cleaning and security services.

The Role

The Estimator will provide support to Business Development teams on a national level. You will play a key role in evaluating and justifying the viability of undertaking a bid and potential of ongoing successful delivery.

The role is short term (e.g. 1-3 months), though could become permanent from Brisbane.

The Duties

• Develop, optimise and review pricing, labour, resource and financial models used in bids, renewals, repricing activities and operational improvement initiatives
• Prepare costings for tender submissions
• Work closely with bids and operations teams
• Undertake cost analysis for facilities management and life cycle works

The Criteria

• 2+years experience working in a Estimator capacity within a facilities management or soft services environment
• Experience within sectors such as Cleaning, Security, Catering, Pest Control, Hygiene etc.
• Must have good Excel skills and understand P+L
