Job summary

Civmec is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead the estimating and tendering function from Henderson, WA. The role directs cross-discipline estimators, drives strategy, ensures compliant, competitive tenders, and mentors the estimating team while engaging with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in estimating teams and large tenders.
• Experience delivering accurate cost estimates and pricing.
• Strong client engagement and stakeholder negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the estimating and tendering function, including strategy, preparation, review, approvals and negotiation
• Coordinate estimators across disciplines to deliver accurate, competitive submissions and drive successful project outcomes
• Monitor tender progress, provide reporting, and proactively manage risks and issues
• Review documentation, prepare cost estimates, and ensure accuracy in take-offs, pricing and methodologies
• Source and manage subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Lead client engagement, tender clarifications and negotiations
• Oversee handover of successful tenders to project teams and brief stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with corporate procedures, quality standards and safety requirements
• Support business growth by maintaining a strong pipeline and building client relationships
