Job summary

KONE is seeking a focused Maintenance Technician to service escalators and support annual elevator checks across Adelaide. This role involves performing maintenance, responding to escalator breakdowns, and upholding KONE safety and quality standards.

Successful candidates will hold a current electrical licence, a valid Australian driving licence, and demonstrated ability to manage breakdowns while maintaining strong customer relationships. Flexible hours and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Registered electrical licence required.
• Valid full Australian drivers licence.
• Experience managing critical breakdowns and stakeholder expectations.
• Motivated and self-starter who can manage workload and competing priorities.
• Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality.
• Customer service mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Attending to maintenance activities and repairs.
• Attending breakdowns on Escalators.
• Carrying out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures including health, quality and safety standards.
• Working to actively maintain customer relationships in the local region.
• Ability to start/finish at flexible times and work after-hours as required.
