Job summary

Peabody Energy is seeking ERZ Controllers to join their Centurion underground mine located 160 kilometres west of Mackay. The role requires strong safety standards and effective communication as you manage production processes and facilitate compliance inspections.

The position offers permanent opportunities with a 7:7 roster, FIFO and DIDO options, exceptional relocation benefits, and an employee assistance program.

Qualifications

• Strong safety and risk management focus.
• Effective communicator and team player.
• Holder of a 3rd Class Managers Certificate of Competency or a Deputy’s Certificate of Competency.
• Competent supervisory skills.
• Proficiency in S1, S2, S3 and risk management and investigation.
• Commitment to high performance standards.

About the role

Peabody is currently seeking ERZ Controllers to join our Centurion underground mine located 160 kilometres west of Mackay. Multiple roles are available in Outbye, Development and Longwall (on track to launch early).

• Ensure teams operate production processes and equipment safely.
• Deliver maintenance schedules in accordance with statutory and site regulations.
• Facilitate crew/shift communication sessions.
• Achieve and drive agreed production targets safely.
