Job summary

Coregas is seeking an ERP Support Technician to provide Level 1–2 technical and functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. You will troubleshoot system and data issues, manage user access and permissions, support reporting, and assist with system improvements.

Ideal candidates have ERP support experience, intermediate SQL and Excel skills, knowledge of AI tools, and strong communication skills. Experience with Dynamics 365 BC is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience supporting ERP applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• IT/Business Systems degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.

• Provide Level 1–2 functional and technical ERP support for Dynamics 365 BC across Finance, Sales, Warehousing and Supply Chain.
• Investigate and resolve system errors, data discrepancies, and user access queries.
• Use SQL to extract, validate and analyse ERP data for troubleshooting and reporting.
• Manage user setup, security roles, permissions and workflows.
• Assist with minor system configuration changes and testing.
• Maintain clear support documentation and troubleshooting guides.
• Log and manage support tickets in line with SLAs.
• Identify opportunities to improve system reliability and user experience.

In this role, you’ll provide Level 1–2 functional and technical support across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, working with users across Finance, Sales, Warehousing and Supply Chain. From troubleshooting system issues and analysing data to managing user access and supporting system improvements, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to use your technical skills while building strong relationships across the business.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide Level 1–2 support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across Finance, Sales, Warehousing and Supply Chain.
• Investigate and resolve system errors, data discrepancies, workflow issues and user access queries.
• Use SQL to extract, validate and analyse ERP data for troubleshooting and reporting.
• Manage user setup, security roles, permissions and workflows.
• Assist with minor system configuration changes.
• Participate in testing and validation of system upgrades, patches and new features.
• Maintain clear support documentation, knowledge articles and troubleshooting guides.
• Log, prioritise and manage support tickets in line with agreed SLAs.
• Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, performance and the overall user experience.

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• At least 2 years’ experience supporting ERP applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly desirable.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Excel.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to investigate data and system issues.
• Experience supporting business users and communicating technical information clearly.
• A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or related certifications would be advantageous.
