Job summary

Preacta Recruitment is seeking an ERP Applications Manager – Supply Chain & Business Systems in Sydney, offering a permanent or fixed-term contract. You will own the core ERP and business applications, and lead a small support team, coordinating with Finance, Inventory, Warehousing and Field Service to keep systems running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience across ERP systems in management, business applications, or project delivery.
• Background in supply chain, wholesale, distribution or manufacturing.
• Understanding of inventory management, warehousing, procurement or order fulfilment.
• Ability to balance day-to-day systems support with improvement initiatives and longer-term projects.
• Experience translating operational requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Exposure to external vendors, developers or implementation partners.
• Strong communication skills and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the ERP and associated business applications, ensuring day-to-day stability and effective support.
• Lead a small team responsible for application support and issue resolution.
• Act as a senior escalation point for system issues and coordinate external vendors and technical partners.
• Work with stakeholders across Finance, Warehousing, Inventory and Field Service to understand requirements and improve business processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting, data quality and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate system enhancements, requirements gathering, testing and change management.
• Contribute to the future ERP transformation, including process mapping, requirements gathering and solution evaluation.
