Job summary

Avance Consulting seeks an ERP HCM Functional Consultant with deep PeopleSoft HCM experience to support and enhance modules such as Core HCM, Absence Management, Global Payroll Core, TA and Time & Labor. You will gather requirements, conduct workshops, design functional specs, and lead testing. 

You will work with business users, deliver enhancements, and ensure stakeholder alignment while managing resources and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with PeopleSoft HCM modules and support.
• Strong background in requirements gathering and functional design.
• Proven ability to conduct workshops and manage stakeholders.
• Hands-on testing experience: unit and system testing, test case prep.

Responsibilities

• Analyze issues and priorities of support calls to meet SLA.
• Work with Core HCM, Absence Management, Global Payroll Core, TA/Time & Labor.
• Gather requirements, prepare docs, estimate efforts and design enhancements.
• Conduct business requirements workshops and fit-gap analyses.
• Design, develop and test enhancements in PeopleSoft HCM.
• Create reports and interfaces (SQR, Application Engine) as needed.
• Prepare functional specs and configuration documents.
• Conduct stakeholder trainings or CRP sessions.
• Track deliverables and milestones; manage resources and contingencies.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and project risks.

ERP HCM Functional Consultant - Peopelsoft

Responsibilities

• Analyze the issues and priorities of support calls to meet the SLA.
• Good Understanding Peoplesoft HCM modules like Core HCM , Absence Management, Global Payroll Core, Talent Acquisition Management, Time and Labor
• Requirement gathering, preparing understanding/requirements documents, efforts estimation and preparing functional design documents
• Conduct Business requirements workshops
• Mapping HCM business processes with Peoplesoft modules as per requirements
• Understand and conduct Fit-Gap, As-Is, Keep-Drop analysis, Delta presentation workshops
• Design, Development and Unit Testing of Enhancements in PeopleSoft HCM.
• Create new reports, Interfaces (SQR/Application Engine) as per the requirements.
• Prepare functional specifications & configuration documents.
• Conduct trainings for stakeholders or Conduct conference room pilot (CRP) sessions for stakeholders.
• Deliverable tracking and monitoring the milestones.
• Effectively manages resources and does contingency planning for self and the team; Negotiates for additional resources where appropriate
• Manage stakeholder’s expectations
• 8+ years of strong Peoplesoft Support experience, handling support issues
• Experience working and communicating with Business users
• Experience in Unit Testing, System Testing, preparing teste cases
• Proficient in at least 4 modules like Core HCM, Absence Management, Global Payroll Core, Talent Acquisition Management, Time and Labor
• Experience of conducting business requirements workshops.
• Experience of working on PUM image upgrades, Tax Updates
• Experience/Knowledge of new PeopleSoft Features like Event Mapping, Page and Field Configurator, Activity Guides and Drop-zones
• Experience in demonstrating New features & enhancements of PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 to Customer
• Managing team & stakeholder’s expectations.
