Job summary

Minter Ellison is seeking a Business Analyst Manager to lead a small team of functional Business Analysts, shaping the quality of requirements and solution design across large projects and BAU initiatives. You'll be the bridge between business value and technical execution, overseeing the analysis pipeline and allocating work from discovery to solution deployment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in complex corporate or professional services environments.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst Lead on large, complex projects.
• Experience analysing requirements and writing robust specifications.
• Feasibility assessment and translation between business and development teams.
• Understanding of SDLC and product management in waterfall, agile or hybrid.
• Data-driven mindset with basic SQL ability.
• Experience using AI assistants to support BA work.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support a team of functional Business Analysts.
• Run requirements workshops and produce clear, complete requirements.
• Evaluate solution designs to reduce complexity and ensure fit.
• Collaborate with developers and support the test team with data and defects.
• Turn the work pipeline into coordinated analysis and development plans.
• Coordinate run sheets and lead deployment of changes.
• Improve and automate team workflows with agility and clarity.
• Embed responsible use of AI tools and coach analysts to use them well.
• Keep Head of Business Systems informed with status updates.
