Qualifications

• Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
• Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries.
• Current computer skills and ability to use health information systems.
• Advocacy for person-centred practice and evidence-based care.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and prioritisation of workload.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred care in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
• Lead, support and supervise other nursing staff and care roles.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality care.
• Apply Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board standards of practice and policy.
