Job summary

Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure is looking for a hands-on Plant and Equipment Coordinator to join our team in St Mary’s, Tasmania. The role covers servicing, repairs, and movement of plant and equipment to keep our yard safe and efficient. You will manage inspections, record-keeping, and ensure timely delivery between sites.

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with a standard daytime schedule. Applicants should have a C-class driver license, strong computer skills, and relevant plant

Qualifications

• Hands-on role coordinating servicing, repairs, and inspections of plant and equipment.
• Experience keeping equipment records and data entry.
• Ability to move plant and equipment between sites and coordinate dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plant and equipment servicing, repairs, breakdowns, calibrations and inspections.
• Carry out minor repairs and servicing.
• Coordinate the dispatch and receipt of hire equipment, including pre- and post-hire inspections and arranging rectification works where required.
• Facilitate the movement of plant and equipment to and between sites, ensuring delivery within required timeframes.
• Maintain plant and equipment records, complete data entry and keep internal systems up to date.
• Load and unload trucks, clean and prepare equipment for hire, complete stocktakes and store materials.
• Ensure the yard is kept clean, organised and well maintained.
