Job summary

Abergeldie is seeking a Plant and Equipment Coordinator to join our team in St Mary’s, NSW. This hands-on role oversees day-to-day movement, servicing and maintenance of plant and equipment, ensuring the yard runs safely and efficiently.

You will coordinate servicing, repairs and inspections, manage dispatch of hire equipment, and maintain accurate records. A current C Class licence, White Card and strong computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and a practical approach to repairs and servicing.
• Able to operate and maintain plant and equipment records.
• Current C Class Driver Licence and White Card required.
• HR Licence and other plant licences are highly regarded.
• First Aid is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plant and equipment servicing, repairs, breakdowns, calibrations and inspections.
• Carry out minor repairs and servicing.
• Coordinate dispatch and receipt of hire equipment including pre/post-hire inspections.
• Move plant and equipment between sites to meet delivery timelines.
• Maintain equipment records and data entry in internal systems.
• Load/unload trucks, prepare equipment for hire and perform stock takes.
• Keep the yard clean, organized and well maintained.
